The Hiden experience is clandestine, exclusive, and real tribute to your palate. The meal is served as an Omakase, Japanese for: I’ll leave it in your hands. The chef decides what to serve, starting with the lightest and ending with the most filling.
The space is comprised of eight spots, guided by the Master Sushi chef, his helper, and two servers that complement the two and a half hour experience. We tasted nineteen individual plates: 15 fish, 1 duck, 1 meat (Wagyu A5 the most expensive cut in the world), and two desserts. This was a sensory, luxuriously galactic, eclectic, and wonderful experience of exceptional qualities, and it certainly came with a hefty price. Hiden is located within a taco shop in Wynwood. The James Bond style door does not read the restaurants’ name. Slide the door open with the four digit code texted to you on the day of your reservation. Here’s what we had.
